Located within the premises of the Ethnology Museum, the Heritage Library is a unique repository dedicated to the folklore, traditional knowledge, and cultural heritage of Pakistan. It supports scholars, students, and the general public through a rich collection of over 36,000 books and journals, including 200 publications by Lok Virsa.

 

The library offers unparalleled resources for research in cultural anthropology, ethnology, art history, crafts, and oral traditions. Visitors also have access to original manuscripts, field surveys, monographs, and research reports on Pakistan’s diverse cultural landscape.
