Virsa Media Centre revealing the panorama of our heritage. The media centre endeavors to permanently record the living culture and colorful images of Pakistani folk. Since 1974, Lok Virsa places great emphasis on audio visual documentation and regarding the same uses modern technology to record rituals, customs, festivals and traditions that are dying out. A professional video studio has been established in the Lok Virsa premises which has been equipped with technology, Media Studio also have the mobile units that can reach any part of the country to capture any event.

This centre offers professional documentaries and video progammes on record which can be used by different television networks, social media and research material for students. Media Centre conducts field surveys and active village to village recordings of cultural traditions through mobile recordings and filming units as well field collectors based in remote regions of the country to create visual record and authentic sound images of rituals traditions, folklore and festivities. One of the major part of the Media Centre is the Virsa Publishing House which publishes books, DVDs/CDs and multimedia material on Pakistan.
