Establish cultural complexes and museums.

Establish cultural industries, art and craft galleries, artisan villages, and organize festivals.

Engage in research, systematic collection, documentation, scientific preservation, projection, and dissemination of cultural heritage.

Carry out studies, investigations, surveys, to collect data to prepare feasibility reports about projects and programmes.

Provide training and technical assistance to educational institutes, participating NGOs and community-based organizations.

Establish centers of excellence and activate existing institutions and build or innovate new institutions and forge private/public sector partnerships.

NIFTH is poised to rekindle its capacity & reimagine its scope vis-à-vis the role of cultural heritage in ensuring a better future for Pakistanis by strengthening their roots in their identity along with celebrating the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Pakistan.

Strategic Planning Vision

In view of a holistic role of cultural heritage, NIFTH is currently planning to devise an integrated strategy to stregnthen and reform the organisational capacity in order to cope* with the 21st century challenges in line with its mandate and the Sustainable Development Goals. A reformed NIFTH will be using the transformative power of culture for social inclusion, strengthening resiliance, and sustainable development.
